Joining a waitlist when a class is full
How to add yourself to a waitlist and what happens when a spot opens up.
Popular classes fill up. When one does, we usually open a waitlist — put your name down and you're in line for the next spot that frees up. It costs nothing to join and you can leave at any time.
Joining the list
-
Open the full class
A full class shows as Waitlist on the timetable instead of Class Open.
-
Tap Join waitlist
Where the Book button normally sits. If you have extra profiles, choose whose place you are waiting for.
-
Check your position
The screen tells you where you are in the queue. Position one is next in line.
What happens when a spot opens
That depends on how we've set up the waitlist for that class — and the class screen will tell you which applies:
Booked automatically
The next person in line is moved straight into the class and told about it. You do not have to do anything — but do keep an eye out, because you are now expected in class.
Offered to everyone waiting
Everyone on the list is told a spot has opened, and the first to take it gets it. Only people on the waitlist can claim it, so it pays to be quick.
Filled by us
We are told a place has come free and we choose who from the list gets it. You will hear from us if it is you.
