Signing in with a one-time code
How to sign in using a code sent to your email instead of a password.
If you'd rather not type a password — or you can't remember yours — you can sign in with a one-time code instead. We email you a six-digit number, you type it in, and you're through. Nothing to remember, nothing to reset.
Signing in with a code
-
Go to the login screen
Open You in the app and tap Log in. On this website, use the Log in button at the top of any page.
-
Choose to log in with a code
Pick the option to email you a code instead of entering a password.
-
Enter your email address
Use the same address you signed up with. If it does not match an account, no code will arrive.
-
Check your inbox
The email arrives within a minute and has the six-digit code in the subject line, so you can often read it without even opening the message.
-
Type the code in
Enter the six digits on the code screen and you are signed in.
Enter your code

Did not get an email? Check your junk folder, then request a new code.
If the email doesn't arrive
- Check your junk or spam folder — the first email from us sometimes lands there.
- Make sure you typed the address you signed up with, not a newer one.
- Wait a minute before requesting another code — asking repeatedly in quick succession can slow things down.
- Still nothing? Get in touch with us and we'll check which address is on your account.
